On the Spot Framing

At The frame and Print Shop, we know some things just can’t wait for a custom frame. For these situations, we offer our “On The Spot” framing services. We carry pre-made frames in a variety of sizes and styles, Nielsen metal frame kits in lengths 5″ to 40″, and the Uni-frame hanging system for any size up to 40″ x 40″. Our staff can help select the best option for your needs, cut glass, mats and backing to size, and even assemble the order for you to help meet your deadline.

We also offer a unique selection of Mill Wood Art, and excellent standard 5×7, 8×10 and 11×14 and 16×20 frames from Larson Juhl and Eco Care for when you need a quick frame on the go!

FAQ

How long does custom framing take to complete?

Generally, our turnaround time on most framing projects is about 2 weeks. This allows us time to order the frame and other necessary materials, and skillfully fit and finish your piece. If time is short, we can usually accommodate rush orders and will do our best to help you meet your deadline. Please note that there is an additional fee for this service. We also carry a selection of clip-frames, frame kits and ready-made frames for even faster solutions.

Will my artwork leave the store?

All of our work is done on-site and remains entirely in our care during the framing process. If your artwork is especially valuable, we encourage you to consult with your insurance company and have it insured while it is on our premises.

How much does custom framing cost?

The prices at The Frame & Print Shop are very competitive. You can trust that our everyday prices are as low as others who offer frequent 50% off sales. A wide variety of factor determine the overall cost, such as size, frame selection, type of glass and matting, mounting and other factors. Frame mouldings vary widely depending on the style, type of wood and manufacturer, so we carry hundreds of frame samples to fit any budget and style. With so many factors involved in determining a quote, we encourage you contact us online or by phone to help you find what you need.

Can you help me update the look of an existing framed piece?

If your piece needs a fresh look, we can cut a custom mat to fit or even replace the glass to fit your existing frame. We can even help you reuse an old frame and swap out old artwork for new to create a fresh look for less.
